Sensitivity Label Descriptions
General-Green
This label is used for general purpose documents and emails without sensitive information. All documents created will have this label. Examples include documentation, general purpose, assignments with no identity, and instructions. Can be shared externally with no markings or limitations
Restricted-Orange-Encrypted
This label is for all documents that contains sensitive information. We recommend using this label and encrypting all sensitive information. Visual markings include header. Restricted information includes private records or organizational records with sensitive information. This label requires the user to set permissions if collaborating. Authenticated access with default permissions are recommended.
Highly Confidential- Red-Encrypted
This label is used for highly sensitive information. Visual markings include watermark, header, and footer. Highly sensitive information includes ssn, credentials, health records, financial records, tax records, and legal records. Limited access and limited permissions are recommended.
